The question “Do you juice?” used to conjure up images of creepy green drinks akin to the unsavory concoction in Judy Blume‘s book Freckle Juice. But thanks to juice menus at restaurants such as Uptown’s Ace Eat Serve and True Food Kitchen in Cherry Creek, I’ve officially joined the masses. (I even bought a juicer a month ago.)

So, when Ace co-owner Josh Wolkon told me his restaurant is expanding its juice program, I was giddy. And it’s not just menu additions, Wolkon is talking larger scale: Ace Juice Bar, which should launch in early April, will become its own entity inside the restaurant. Customers will enter Ace’s patio gate and access the juice bar via one of the east-facing garage doors.

There will also be curbside delivery (brilliant!) for call-in orders. Plus, Wolkon says he might add a Vitamix for smoothies and sell all-natural, organic meal bars (called Ace Bar, of course) for those who like to chew their food.

Bonus: Tomorrow (March 5), as part of the Seasoned Chef Cooking School‘s Denver’s Best Chef Series, Ace executive chef Brandon Biederman will teach an Asian Cravings course. The menu includes pork shumai, mapo tofu with Thai sticky rice, shrimp dumplings with jungle curry, coconut sticky rice with fresh mango, and chocolate bao buns with peanut butter-chocolate filling. $80, 6:30–9:30 p.m., 999 Jasmine St., Suite 100, 303-377-3222
