Stage 7: Boulder to Denver (Sunday, August 24)

From guides to each stage of the race to our favorite bicycle shops around Denver, we give you all you need to know during Colorado’s favorite road-cycling race.

After starting in Boulder, riders traverse several miles of CO 93 on the way to Golden. Waiting in Golden is a four-mile climb up Lookout Mountain. Then cyclists make their way through the suburbs to Denver. Finally, it’s three and a half laps through downtown along 17th Avenue and City Park.

Distance: 78 miles

Start: 12:30 p.m.

Where to Watch: Here’s our roundup of places to watch the seventh and final stage of the race.

Fuel Up: Grab a beer at Mountain Sun Pub & Brewery in Boulder, or stop by its sister restaurant, the Vine Street Pub, in Denver.

Don’t Miss: Check out the watch party at the Denver Bicycle Cafe on 17th Avenue.

Stay: Stay at home—the race is finally coming to you.
