Projects Watches Carve Watch

Product Watches Carve Watch, available at Balefire Goods

A watch is a luxe gift, but that doesn’t mean the price has to bust your budget. That’s why we like the Carve Watch by Projects Watches. Designed by Italian industrial and product designer Alessio Romano, it’s a clean, modern timepiece in matte stainless steel, but with a primitive, stone-like face. It also showcases three white tipped hands to display the time and is accented with a leather strap. The best part? It’s under $200. $140, Balefire Goods, 7417 Grandview Ave., Arvada

Speaking of backpacks, although it may not fit into your average stocking, the Adventurist Classic is the feel good gift of the season. The result is a streamlined, Scandinavian-inspired backpack in durable, water-resistant polyester. Plus, for every pack sold, Adventurist provides 25 meals to families through Feeding America (which includes the Food Bank of the Rockies). $65, adventuristbackpacks.com

Linné’s Smooth Body Balm

Linné’s Smooth Body Balm, available at Cedar & Hyde

The best way to give rough winter skin a little TLC is with a luxe moisturizer like Linné’s Smooth Body Balm. This intensive potion promotes healthy skin pH, reduces inflammation, and improves skin texture with a combination of organic and wild-harvested ingredients including avocado oil, meadowfoam, and shiso seed oil (a great source of omega-3 fatty acids). And the citrus-based scent isn’t overtly feminine, so even men can use it on rough spots like elbows, hands, and feet. $68, Cedar & Hyde Mercantile, 2015 10th St., Boulder, 720-287-3900
