The law firm of Appel & Lucas at 19th and Market had a very unpleasant day Monday. First, a man came in and threw two molotov cocktails in its front lobby. They failed to explode. He then ran out and was chased by two of the firms employees. The culprit took out a gun and started firing. Luckily, no one was hit. Someone got the license number of the car the man drove away in. Tonight, police arrested 69-year-old John Volske at his home in Colorado Springs. A disgruntled client? I tend to doubt it. The firm handles corporate bankruptcies. Also, the article says:

Maybe it was a stockholder or creditor of a company that went kaput. I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough. In the meantime, have you hugged your lawyer today?
