The It Factor for Denver: Prints and dresses are always go-to items for DVF fans, but on the spring runway, what looks best is a mix of vibrant, solid colors: a coral blouse paired with a purple pencil skirt; a super-sexy sleeveless pink hoodie and a pair of purple wrap-waist pants; and a yellow drapey halter and mint-green skirt.
The Gist of It: New creative director Yvan Mispelaere has simplified some of the DVF runway styling, putting the clothes center stage, as they should be. Mispelaere works signature DVF themes, including prints in jigsaw puzzle and scroll patterns, around easy shapes, such as narrowly cropped trousers, rompers, breezy blouses, high-waisted short shorts, caftans, and—of course—those famous wrap dresses.
