The Denver Nuggets nabbed a spot in the playoffs last night with a 111-104 home victory over the New York Knicks, according to The Associated Press, which notes that the game was closer than the score indicates.
The Nuggets blew most of a 27-point lead, but Carmelo Anthony was hot, putting 29 points on the scoreboard. Coupled with San Antonio’s loss to Oklahoma City, the Nuggets are second in the Western Conference with just two weeks remaining in the season.
