The Genoa Motorsports Country Club of the small Eastern Plains town of Genoa was supposed to be finished by now, but construction hasn’t yet begun. Finally, it seems the project is going to get the kick-start it needs, thanks to owners Gary Pfeifer and Kevin Rogers bringing in an undisclosed third party, who will probably fund 70 percent of the project’s first phase, according to the Denver Business Journal. Courses will be built on a 2,700-acre site for use by members and for official races. Membership is pretty steep, ranging from $17,050 for individuals before track construction ($25,000 after) to $130,000 for partner members who also have access to land for a condo and/or garage.
