Concert for Cash: For eight years, the Cash Scanlon Phillips Foundation has raised money to build clinics, run hospital programs, and provide adoption assistance for Denver families by putting on a damn good show. This annual musical celebration—hosted by the parents of Cash Scanlon Phillips, a four-month-old who died from spinal muscular atrophy in 2007—will consist of dancing, food, sweet auction items and good vibes, all benefiting programs at Children’s Hospital in Denver. Friday, 5:30 p.m.; Breckenridge Colorado Craft, 2220 Blake St.
MUDD Volleyball Event Planning: Get knee-deep in all the dirty details of the March of Dimes MUDD Volleyball tournament and help plan this important annual fundraiser that supports healthy babies. Once a month you’ll meet with a volunteer group in downtown Denver to hash out your creative, inspiring ideas, culminating on August 1 with the filthiest volleyball tourney you’ve ever seen. Submit your interest by Sunday via phone (303-305-1227) or email.
