Two years ago, running back Terrell Davis was the last Denver Broncos player to be elected into the team’s Ring of Fame. Now former tight end Shannon Sharpe, who spent 12 seasons in Denver and was part of the Broncos’ back-to-back Super Bowl wins in 1997 and 1998, has finally made the ring (via The Denver Post).

Sharpe, who will be honored prior to the Broncos’ first home game on September 20, held every major receiving record for a tight end in the National Football League until recently, when he was trumped by Tony Gonzalez.
