For the past two summers, Denverites have stamped their passports without leaving the city limits. We’re talking about the Denver Passport, the pocket-sized book filled with two-for-one deals on drinks all over town. The concept, launched by Casey Berry of Imbibe and PJ Hoberman of Denver Off the Wagon, was designed to urge participants to get out and explore some of the city’s best eating and drinking establishments. Those who managed to nab every stamp in the book were rewarded with prizes, perks, and bragging rights.
While the 2015 Passport is slated to release in spring, the same folks have unveiled the Winter Warmer to tide you over in the meantime. The concept is the same: Purchase the book and you’ll have six weeks to enjoy two-for-one, winter-inspired drinks at 20 different bars, restaurants, and breweries. With participants like the Populist, Cart-Driver, Linger, and Ste. Ellie, the Winter Warmer is your guide to exploring some of the best spots in town. Simply present your passport to the barkeep and stamp your way through Denver. You’d better hurry, though—the Winter Warmer is just $20, and with only 1,000 printed, they’re sure to go quick. Get yours here.
