Lisl Auman accepted the plea bargain and pleaded guilty to burglary and accessory to accessory to first-degree murder.
A new sentence of 20 years in community corrections was proposed, with prosecutors and Auman’s lawyers agreeing to 12 years to be served in community corrections. Auman’s family believes she will be home soon, according to family spokesman Matt Moseley.

Auman has served eight years of the proposed 20-year sentence. The judge is free to accept or reject the sentencing recommendation.
